Since joining Ambrit International School in 2014, I have led comprehensive technology integration initiatives across all grade levels (EC-G8), aligning technology implementation with both IBO and ISTE standards while supporting the school’s educational mission.

Key Responsibilities & Achievements

Technology Integration

• Coordinated technology integration for the entire school (Early Childhood through Grade 8)
• Developed and aligned ICT curricula with IBO, ISTE, and Italian National Curriculum standards
• Collaborated with teaching teams to implement meaningful technology integration strategies
• Conducted weekly grade-level meetings and bi-weekly middle school team meetings to support integration initiatives

Professional Development

• Designed and delivered ongoing professional development for staff on Google Workspace for Education
• Created targeted workshops on educational technology tools and pedagogical approaches
• Developed online tutorials and documentation for staff reference
• Established weekly helpdesk sessions for individualized staff support

Digital Infrastructure Management

• Oversaw transition from Google Workspace for Education to Toddle as the school’s Learning Management System
• Evaluated and selected the school’s Student Information System, leading staff training for implementation
• Managed and maintained the school’s network, software, hardware, intranet, and website
• Led the transition from a 1:1 iPad program to Chromebook implementation

Brand Identity & Digital Communications

• Developed the school’s first comprehensive Brand Guidelines
• Created templates and displays for school events and communications
• Designed and implemented signage throughout the school campus
• Produced media content for internal communication, parent engagement, and social media

Digital Systems & GDPR Compliance

• Collaborated with the school’s Data Protection Officer to develop GDPR-compliant policies
• Implemented privacy-focused evaluation procedures for digital tools and services
• Developed and maintained digital forms and approval processes for administrative functions
• Created streamlined workflows for leave requests, professional development, and field trip authorizations

MYP Design Program Development (2017-2021)

• Established the school’s first MYP Design program and curriculum
• Balanced both practical skills (e.g., sewing, construction) and digital skills (e.g., coding) within integrated units
• Mentored new Design teachers, providing curriculum guidance and implementation support
• Aligned Design program with IB requirements, helping secure MYP authorization

Impact

The technology integration initiatives at Ambrit have resulted in enhanced digital literacy among students, increased teacher confidence with educational technology, and streamlined administrative processes. My work creating the MYP Design program established a foundation for ongoing student success in developing both practical and digital design thinking skills.
